Doctoral student in subject-matter didactics specializing in English. Has self-assessment of student skills, specifically productive skills in English, as her dissertation subject. The research area comprises language didactics, linguistics, psychology of learning, and psychology of motivation. Issues involve whether students perceive that there are areas that they themselves can assess better than an external examiner and whether training in self-assessment provides students with a more realistic picture of their language skills.
Teaches and supervises in teacher education: AUO (general teacher education) and language didactics (English and Swedish), alternative assessment forms, and writing and language development.
