Research interests:

Subject-matter didactics specializing in science, primarily physics, classroom research based on TLS (Teaching and Learning Sequences). Student learning in science, primarily physics. Incipient interest in factors—both content-related and frameworks—that shape interactions among students and between students and teachers in the classroom.

Teaching interests:

  • Subject-matter didactics and physics in teacher education
  • Subject-matter didactics in continuing education in science for teachers
  • Tertiary education with subject-matter didactic content
